“They have been pushing an agenda the opposite of MAGA for 30 years. Where has Levin been?”
The same place all too many people have been. Bamboozled or, hoping that their votes for the lesser of two evils would buy time.
I was just a youngster when Reagan was elected. But, my family was politically active and politics were discussed on a regular basis. The RINOs (my family called them Country Club Republicans) have always been weak, pathetic, and only truly interested in themselves, their families, and their friends, and of course benefitting their deep-pocket benefactors.
While the Dems are rabid ideologues the RINO’s are insipid lowlife scum.
My grandad, and my dad told me Goldwater was a threat to the RINO’s, Reagan was a threat to the RINOs as well but, Trump is more than a threat to them. He is finally the one man that has the power to destroy them.
And, it is this fact that they realize and so, they have joined forces with the Dems to try to destroy Trump and all who support him as an existential threat to DC and the decades of corruption they have put in place for their own benefit.

Big lies from Trump resulted in losing Liz Cheney as a GOP force. It is being cited as one of the most chilling takedowns since Joan of Arc or the Milli Vanilli scandal. Pretty serial.

For some odd reason her ascension for no damn good reason, and resultant ingratitude, reminds me of this poem:

Dark and lonely on a summer’s night.
Kill my landlord. Kill my landlord.
Watchdog barking. Do he bite?
Kill my landlord. Kill my landlord.
Slip in his window. Break his neck.
Then his house I start to wreck.
Got no reason. What the heck?
Kill my landlord. Kill my landlord.
C-I-L-L my land lord!

Suffer the 30-sec ad and you can see what is pretty approximate to her crowd:

My first vote in a presidential election was for Reagan in 1980, and even had the chance to work on a GOTV that was run by a bunch of veterans of the Goldwater campaign, who for many years after that remained the heart of the grass roots movement. From the ground floor, it just wasn't at all obvious that the national apparatus was merely using the base for their own ends, and telling us what we wanted to hear every four years, while selling out our core issues with lame excuses about "political reality".

What opened my eyes was when, against all odds, a grass roots campaign got California's preposition 187 on the ballot. With the exception of the otherwise notorious squish Pete Wilson, every establishment Republican came to Cali to campaign against it.

And then it passed at the ballot box. We thought we had won. And when the RINO's tried to "blame the Democrat machine" for the corrupt court case that overturned that election, they exposed themselves for the snakes that they are.

Levin has been saying the right things for a long time, but there's simply no way that he's unaware of the utterly corrupt nature of the GOPe, and the Bushite NeverTrumpers.
