Former President Donald Trump unloaded on his predecessor Wednesday; saying “comparing Joe Biden to Jimmy Carter is very unfair to Jimmy Carter.”
“I see that everybody is comparing Joe Biden to Jimmy Carter. It would seem to me that is very unfair to Jimmy Carter. Jimmy mishandled crisis after crisis, but Biden has CREATED crisis after crisis. First there was the Biden Border Crisis (that he refuses to call a Crisis), then the Biden Economic Crisis, then the Biden Israel Crisis, and now the Biden Gas Crisis. Joe Biden has had the worst start of any president in United States history, and someday, they will compare future disasters to the Biden Administration—but no, Jimmy was better!” posted Trump on his personal webpage.
He also weighed-in the political fallout surrounding Rep. Liz Cheney.
“Liz Cheney is a bitter, horrible human being. I watched her yesterday and realized how bad she is for the Republican Party. She has no personality or anything good having to do with politics or our Country. She is a talking point for Democrats, whether that means the Border, the gas lines, inflation, or destroying our economy. She is a warmonger whose family stupidly pushed us into the never-ending Middle East Disaster, draining our wealth and depleting our Great Military, the worst decision in our Country’s history. I look forward to soon watching her as a Paid Contributor on CNN or MSDNC!” he added.

Unfortunately, they same traits that make him make sometimes intemperate remarks also make him tough enough to brush off insults and credible threats both to his health and personal freedom. He also married a woman who knows how to stay in her lane and supports her husband without steering him.

Straddling parties results in mediocrity and disloyalty in the performance of an elected persons duty to support their professed party. Like so many others, I wish President Trump could have done more. But I also realize that in many cases his hands were tied and he had no help. But one, I think, small thing I wish he would have done is cancel all security clearances for folks when they leave office or position. PIAPS was a junior, carpetbagging Senator from NY. There is absolutely no reason for her to have a security clearance. Same goes for all the clowns that took part in the Dossier disaster.
And absolutely NOT ONE SINGLE flag officer should be able to keep theirs after retirement. Especially now with how the majority, if not all, of them have been exposed for being SJW punks from Soetero.

I will ignore your unnecessary personal attack, and instead focus on strategy. Trump’s tone does not bother me personally in the least. I saw him as the last hope for the Republic, and I still do.
But here’s where strategy comes in. Trump does not need to win true conservatives over. We are already on his side. And he will never win over those on the left. It’s the squishy middle that decides elections.
So what is better, to speak without a filter and so lose the squishy middle, or filter your remarks and so gain the squishy middle?
This is not just some dusty theoretical argument. If we play our cards wrong here the Republic is lost, and maybe forever.
