yeah that’s the exact reason I know 100% certain that time travel (to the past at least) will never be invented. Because if it was ever invented... we would have time tourists. Once something is ready to be invented, you can’t keep the cat in the bag for long.
Ah well presumably it is very highly controlled, because if a time tourist from the future disrupted anything at all (and just observing the past is theoretically a disturbance) then the future from which the traveler came may no longer exist.
