GUY HAD DISCOVERED THE UNDERLYING PRINCIPLE OF TIME TRAVEL. ALA DOC BROWN, AND WORKED FOR YEARS TO PERFECT A MACHINE TO DO SO. AS HE WORKED HE REALIZED WHAT A ROTTEN WORLD IT WAS, AND DECIDED THAT HE WOULD TRAVEL INTO THE FUTURE A FEW HUNDRED YEARS AND ACQUIRE WEAPONS THAT HE COULD COME BACK WITH TO BE INVINCIBLE, FIX THE WORLD, AND RULE IT.
FINALLY HE WAS READY. HE HAD CHECKED AND RECHECKED EVERYTHING
HE WAS READY! HE ENTERED THE MACHINE, THREW THE SWITCH, AND WAS INSTANTLY TRANSPORTED HUNDREDS OF YEARS INTO THE FUTURE.
BUT, HE HAD FORGOTTEN THAT THE EARTH MOVES IN TIME AND SPACE,SO HE DIED ALMOST INSTANTLY IN THE VOID WHERE THE EARTH USED TO BE.

I remember this. Art Bell was one of the greatest interviewers ever. Didn’t matter what the subject was, he took his guest seriously. As a long time listener, you could occasionally tell when Art was rolling his eyes.
