I live in Central New York State. We’ve had snow storms on Mother’s Day in the past. It’s no biggie.
Twenty years ago, I got a job offer in Corning, NY. I interviewed there in late April and got hit with a blizzard during my interview trip. I spent five years as a kid in nearby Ithaca, NY and that brought back painful memories of shoveling the driveway and walk. That blizzard made me turn the job down and I stayed in California.
