The truck driver allows the protestor to provoke him until he lost all situational awareness.
He is outnumbered by armed Antifa.
The truck driver should have kept driving when he had a clear path.
He stops his truck when he could have exited the area. A protestor must have hit his truck with something for him to stop and get out. His judgement was clouded at this point.
He should have retreated to a position with no one behind him before pulling the gun out for a better defensive position.
Note: He only pull his gun when Antifa pointed the rifle at him. If you have to pull your weapon and point you better be prepared to shoot.
Antifa was able to attack from the rear because he did not retreat to a better firing position.
Antifa is acting like a gang (pack of wolves taking down dinner) at this point. I grew up in areas where they would surround you with one person keeping your attention. Once you focus on that one person a sneak attack would come from behind. I learn quickly at a young age to retreat if there are more than three aggressors. If I could not retreat, I would throw the best first punch I had.
Should not have stopped. Truck drivers should refuse to go into the city if no protection is offered. Oklahoma has fixed the problem. Ranch Hand bumpers and cattle guards on most trucks in this state.
