What really creeped me out about getting the vaccine was the otherworldly zeal in which others got theirs. They were literally pumping their fist in the air and taking selfies after getting the shot. They they go around proudly proclaiming to everybody "I got my shot!" and then asking "When are you getting yours?"

Does anybody else find this behavior sort of strange? It's almost cultish.

So I'm holding off and I'm not likely to change my mind.

“ Does anybody else find this behavior sort of strange? ”

I cannot figure it out. Pro life devout Catholics who have read the literature on how each company used aborted fetal tissue either as a growth medium or in the vaccine itself pushing it

Well, in a Facebook me-too culture I do find it cultish but not surprising.

For some, who are actually at high risk due to preexisting conditions, I understand them getting the shot. And I bet if they did not have those preexisting conditions a large majority would not have gotten the shot. For others they are being pressured and gave in. The people that are the real morons are those that are virtue signaling and celebrating their own heroism and saving the world. Pathetic.

We see the same stuff. Lots of people we know found ways to jump the queue to get their shots and then bragged about it. They feel very free to ask everyone about their shot status, which I consider private medical information. Never have I seen cowardice and intrusiveness so accepted in society. It is a very disturbing episode of group-think.

It’s not almost cultish. It absolutely is cultish.

It’s the kind of bizarre, self destructive behavior that can only occur in the minds of the godless. They do not know God and don’t wish to, but they are still inclined to worship something, because it is in Man’s soul to worship God. Idolatry happens when the rebellious worship something else.

In this case, these people worship humanity or themselves. The creation of the vaccine is their “miracle” and taking it is their “rite”.

It is exactly as the Bible described. They proclaim themselves wise, but have become fools. They cling to a form of godliness but deny His power and authority. They should be avoided except to speak the Truth to them.
