We have no idea what they really have, or how much jeopardy Gaetz is in. Only Gaetz and the DOJ know that.
Just because the DOJ isn’t holding daily press conferences, doesn’t mean they are not building their case. They have the “escorts”, and evidence of the Bahamas trip. Now they are trying to prove a Cannabis Lobbyist paid for the whole thing as a bribe. More “bimbo eruptions” is what the press needs, not the DOJ. The DOJ is working quietly to “flip” witnesses like the lobbyist, not trolling for bimbos.
I agree, but what’s really galling is that I have read carefully and listened carefully and I have yet to find out a single thing Gaetz actually did wrong. All the stories either tail off with he paid some girl some money or he was at a party where other people did drugs or that his buddy was a bad dude.
There is no mention of or witnesses that Gaetz gave money for illicit acts or substances or that he participated in any.
But when you read the headlines and the ledes or watch the putrid media, they are full of smug winking and sneering suggestions that there must be some real bad stuff going on and Gaetz is in big trouble.
Even for them, this is a new level of baseless accusation as their chosen tactic for political assassination
