I just think anytime a suspect dies in a situation where there is police, there was a failure somewhere. Maybe it’s procedural, rather than the cop’s actions at the time. But something should be addressed.

Floyd had 3x the lethal dose of fentayl in his system, plus meth, an enlarged heart, 2 coronary arteries were 90% blocked and he had untreated hypertension.

He resisted lawful arrest.

The cops called for EMS quickly.

They were trying to maintain order in the midst of a hostile crowd with 2 or 3 of the 4 officers being rookies.

I really don't know what they could have done differently.

Floyd was solely responsible for his own death.
