Blacks have happily stayed on the white Democrat Plantation. Don’t blame white people for that.

Eh, I blame white Liberals for that. Blacks were actually doing okay until LBJ's War on Poverty. 'Pubbies were getting 30-40% of the black vote until then.
But not only did Poverty kick our collective asses, the War destroyed the black family structure. And, thanks to that, the blacks became slaves on the Democrat plantation, again. (This actually started in 1936 with FDR's New Deal; there was a reason that white Democrats wanted to suppress the black vote; they were voting Republican!)
