My preferred carry is usually my S&W Model 60 (.357) with a larger than standard grip. My main alternative is a Ruger EC9 which has worked without problem so far and is a bit easier to conceal. I’d like to try a Sig 365 someday. For home defense, my Beretta 92 is nice pointing, has a long barrel and is reliable. I like DA/SA coming from a revolver background.
Be sure to hold and examine the new Kimber revolvers. They are slim and very nice. I ordered my 4” from a Kimber dealer and had it in less than 4 weeks. The 3” and snobbies are similar but the snub nosed has a shrouded trigger so is only DA. They feel almost a slim as a pistol. I carry 357 in it but practice with 38 most of the time.
