Both of my parents went down with Pak docs taking care of them, usually as low cost docs for their HMO.
One of them I lodged a board complaint against; he got out of it, but ended up with about 3 more over about a 10 year period, don’t think he’s practicing anymore.
The paucity of American doctors is not caused by Middle Eastern superhero docs coming to rescue the First World with Third World precision and competence.
It was caused by the AMA union that artificially limited the number of medical schools and students in the 1970s-80s with the argument that too many docs = lower pay for them -> fewer high quality medical school applicants.
Which was just nonsense.
Maybe Fauci was involved.
I believe Gupta’s version. When this virus was first talked about, the news was that a lab worker went to the wet market and spread the virus there. Not from a bat, but from the human worker.
The online news source I moderate for, AgendaFreeTV, YouTube, first reported on the Wuhan virus on January 17th, 2020, and that’s what the broadcaster there, Steve Lookner, was seeing in reports that he read on-air.
Big govt can NEVER admit they were wrong about anything... EVER! And that goes double for the big govt loving liars at CNN.
My Syrian born doctor saved my life during what was supposed to be a routine check-up. While updating my EKG in his office, my heart went into arrhythmia and took off racing. I could barely breathe it was racing so fast. His quick action that day I'm convinced saved my life and how fortunate for me that the entire thing was caught on the EKG machine when it happened.
Five years ago when I separated from my then wife of 30 years and started the divorce process I ended up in his office for something or another (I don't remember) and he overheard me telling the nurse who was also a personal friend about going through divorce and how stressful it was.
My doctor spent thirty minutes talking to me about it, asking if I needed help coping with the stress, how my health was, did I have someone to talk to about what I was going through, etc.. What a kind and gentle man. He's still my doctor and I wouldn't trade him for the world.
