$5.72/bushel corn is not going to make food cost less either. Meat prices will at least double.
Not sure where you live, I'm about 25-30 miles southwest of Shitcago here in Hellinois. Depending on what you're buying, meat prices have already doubled -- and then some.
80/20 ground beef was around $4.50/lb back in December, it's well over $9/lb now. The last Ribeye I bought was over $15/lb and that was just a week ago when the weather was 82 here and I wanted to grill.
Fruit and Vegetable prices are going way up here too. And the dumbass & whore in the White House say there's no inflation. ROFL!
2024 cannot come fast enough at this point, and I'm typically not one to wish time away at my age.
