I was just suggesting google ads, if the OP wanted advertising. Which I think the OP didn’t want to use. I just know they are fairly easy to implement for a novice. But your point is well taken.

What is wrong with the internet indeed. You can’t even own your own domain. Reminds me of the story - there was a guy who’s name was Nissan so he locked up Nissan.com early in the game. Idiot refused a very big offer from Nissan motors. 7 figures. I think he wanted 8 figures. Nissan just registered themselves a different domain, then sued Nissan for promoting cars on his website. So what is wrong with the internet, same thing that is wrong with the world I guess.

Thank you for sharing that, I could see that happening. It just makes me so mad that so many have fallen for the brainwashing and scam that “You have to get Google services”.

No you don’t, all of it can be replaced with your own stuff, or other provider’s stuff, Or NONE. And most are even open source for free rather than services like “Google Analytics”. Google analytics is the premier spy tool out there despite what they claim. Absolutely no way would I have it connected as a 3rd party service. Not if I respected my user’s privacy.

It is time to boycott and De-Google period, or they will own the net forever... It is easy... Just say no. I did it on my site for ten years and actually lived through it. How about that political incorrectness? :)
