Against the COVID Clingers

The coronavirus is subsiding, and by the White House’s glad admission, vaccination is moving smoothly. A healthy civilization would treat this as a cause for celebration. With the arrival of spring, the timing couldn’t be better.

But for many, a return to normal is something to be dreaded. The imbecilic hypervigilance of Dr. Anthony Fauci has never been more tenuous, but the buffoon is not letting go. And while Joe Biden is awfully fond of boasting about the vaccine he had nothing to do with, as far as he’s concerned, normal life remains as elusive as it was in the early days of the pandemic.

With all signs indicating that things are improving, there is no justification for carrying on this way. After all the country has suffered, it is a slap in the face. Americans have lived in stultifying confinement for a year now. Persistence in this social experiment is not merely irrational, but anti-social and hostile to life.

A recent article said that “Biden” had a secret meeting to discuss remaking our economy into a top down planned economy. A new FDR, in other words. To do that, the Left of course had to bankrupt the entire economy.

Also, they are flooding us with money (the M4 money supply) to ensure we become the new Soviet Union.

I love seeing protesters for communism with an iPhone and Starbucks coffee. One raged that there must be fifty different types of deodorant. Mind boggling lack of understanding. The fact that there are fifty* types means they are all finding a market and making a profit. Things that are not made for profit are not made in sufficient quantities to satisfy demand. If there was just one deodorant it would quickly sell out and since the company had already made its allotment and switched the line to something else means...no more deodorant. That is how a planned economy works.

* Why does she care? Why is it her business? Why does she feel she can dictate what other people do with their money? Why don’t these people get a job? Why is it you can get a riot** together on a work day?

**General Dynamics was being protested by FSU because they had an investment in South Africa during Apartheid. Now, GD had black managers and equal pay. That didn’t count. I saw the “protesters” arrive. What a dispirited lot of loosers. They arrived on a nice, chartered bus. They lined up to receive signs and a box lunch. At 4:30 they stacked the signs, leaving the lunch trash strewn about and waited for the buss. I looked it up. There are companies that specialize in supplying protesters. They recruit, they handle payments, they supply signs and paper Mache heads or whatever you want to pay for. You can find them on the internet. Whatever the cause they can supply “AstroTurf” that makes it look like a “people’s movement.” Ask them what they’re protesting for and you get that deer in the headlights look. They don’t have a clue.
