Actually, I wondered that. So the ice age never hit Egypt like the rest of the world. Interesting.

The northern ice sheets of the last ice age only went so-far south. Here in New York City they only made it to southern New York.

Just so you realize. Chicago is the same latitude as Rome. So the ice sheet was in the Mediterranean. Europe is above North America. Our maps have been adjusted to make South America look like its underneath North America. Its not. Straight south from Chicago is the Pacific Ocean. And Spain is North of Chicago.
