As a young man, I worked in a jewelry store in downtown East St. Louis, Illinois. One day I saw a large woman, whose name could have been Daquiesha for all I know, get stopped in front of our door by a tiny Korean woman who ran a wig shop a few doors down. Daquiesha had run out with a wig and took a swing at the Korean woman. The Korean woman decked her. That was nearly 50 years ago.

My company had some Chinese customers visit us a few times over the years. The visitors would take the opportunity to do some tourist activities, visit NY City, etc…

One of the women, who had only visited the USA twice, asked - why are black people so angry at Chinese?
