This is not a free speech issue, this is a medical malpractice issue.
But surely there is a place for this whack job in Biden's HHS.
Most psychiatrists I know are themselves nuts.
Quack, quack!
Maybe Fauci will throw something her way. Frauds of a feather must stick together.
Oops. More hate directed at Asian Americans. Our institutions are rife with systemic racism. When will they wake up to their intolerance? /s
Bandy, Yale has declared you a non-essential employee with sky high legal liabilities. Under The Bus you go!
See ya! Oh, and you may not wanna put Yale on your resume.
HR is under instructions to say “She came. She slandered. She left.” ...and nothing more.
She played ball for the wrong team.
“I spent over $6000 dollars bailing him out and now he DUMPs me?!”
To use your title, and education to make a diagnosis, without ever having examined the “patient” is the height of professional malpractice and is extremely unethical. Yale stands on solid ground with her termination. I wouldn’t be shocked if she faces licensing disciplinary action, as it is warranted in this case.
I bet Dirshowitz threatened legal action against Yale for allowing these fake diagnoses without examinations which I believe he has stated was against code or illegal for psychiatrists
I always thought she was just saying what all those people were thinking. Normally in situations such as these she would get a raise or the key to the city, or something! Who knew?
It is a case of gross repeated ethical violations. That can be a cause for action in a lawsuit if harm can be shown.
If what she did was so bad - why did Yale wait until Trump was no longer president??
Does she sleep with her patients?
Maybe the University will plead insanity.
Funny how not one word from this idiot on Bidens mental health....when its totally obvious.
There were several books written about Trump by both psychiatrists and psychologists. I read one. A compilation of essays, edited by a psychiatrist in Asheville NC.
It was pretty good, very objective, and more informative of the detail criteria of narcissistic disorder (also why certain of these traits are good leadership qualities) and did not cross the line per the Goldwater Rule.
I’ve read the rule and attended psychiatry legal ethics courses taught by a psychiatrist who is also an attorney handling psychiatry malpractice claims for a medical malpractice insurance company. (My wife is a psychiatrist)
Lee definitely crossed the line.
They kept her while she could spout off anti-Trump nonsense. She’s worn out her usefulness.
They do if the men also have money and power. That seems to be the secret combination for some of them.
She can't be worse than that tranny who refused to answer Senator Paul's questions about whether it supported gender transition hormones for children.
Just goes to show that when folks buy into their hyperpartisanship, their ethics go out the window.
I am guessing a number of alumni donations have plummeted after this unprofessional and whack job behavior?
