Apparently, he bought the gun after passing a new and improved background check. But I’m sure more gun control would have stopped him. You could ban assault weapons because there’s no way he could kill 10 people with a handgun. Unless he was Seung-Hui Cho who killed 33 people with the most commonly available 9mm handgun known to man, a Glock 19 14 years ago.
