The royal family has long had a policy of offering no explanations, and no excuses to the media when given bad press, whether over a scandal or family crisis. ME-gain knew this going in, but she thought, and still thinks she should be an exception. She has been demanding Her Majesty change this policy and defend her in the media since before the wedding. Her Majesty has refused ME-gains demands, so ME-gain retaliated by taking the queens (reported to be) favorite grandson to America as punishment. The temper tantrum hasn’t worked, so little miss duchess difficult has upped the ante, calling the family racists while their husband, father and grandfather is dying.
Then along comes Gayle to assure us that “princess pushy” is really very sweet. No. Really sweet people do not have to demand good press.
