The problem is that the police have accepted those orders from a kneeling position.
Not every place, and not every officer. The left is creating an atmosphere where LEO (even the good ones) are forced for various reasons to operate under an ever increasing "Us vs Them" attitude. It leads to increased animosity on both sides. Conservatives/Patriots that make comments like above only push that dynamic further. I'm not saying don't call out LEO that have become agents of an oppressive state. THey need to be identified, isolated and dealt with. I'm asking that some care be made to not paint with such a wide brush, because it plays in to the Socialist/Globalist hands. We need to highlight departments and officer who are doing it right.
Full disclosure, my son is an LEO in a mid-sized (pop. 50K+) Midwestern city. Even though the city council is loaded with your typical lefty politicians, his department is very conservative, as is he. Officers were informed by the chief that they would be canned if they violated anyone's civil rights under the Constitution. Also, I 100% support our county Sheriff, who is a rock ribbed conservative, very pro-Constitution. Unofficially, I heard he was a supporter of militias. He could not support them with the department, though, due to legal liability reasons.
Well said. Too many people on here trash the cops due to one bad interaction, or just plain anti-cop animus. While I recognize that police are an arm of the State and must be held accountable, just pissing on them isn’t that way to go and it does feed into the Communist’s strategy.
But Enough.
