“Dr. Seuss Enterprises announced it would stop the sale and distribution of six classic volumes from the great children’s author.”
That’s not a ban.

But are you OK with them giving in to the mob? These books were OK just weeks ago.

That’s what makes it all so insidious.
The government cannot censor us.
But they’ve convinces corporations like Facebook and Twitter to censor the public. That’s OK.
And now book publishers are banning their own books. That’s OK.
They don’t have enough police, court time, or jails to lock up all the people who refuse to wear masks (which are not actually legally required, really). But that’s OK. They’ve convinced stores, the general public, and most of the sheeple to mask themselves voluntarily.
First time in history that people have volunteered to create and administer a tyranny to place over themselves.

My wife got me turned on to their program. It’s so uplifting to hear young black men speak truth to power. I wish more whites would cast aside their fear and do it.

Look back through history. The people banning/burning books, trying to stop or control the flow of information - they are not the good guys. In hindsight, even the couple of times "the good guys" engaged in it, it always comes out looking like a bad idea.
It makes the people that do it end up looking like Nazis (who burned a lot of books BTW). You burn or ban something, you're telling the world you fear what it says or what someone might say. You're telling the world you have no good counter to that information. You are basically admitting that information is right, you are wrong, and your only recourse is to prevent people from accessing it.
Little wonder today's leftists are doing the exact same things their ideological forefathers, the National Socialists Workers Party, did. Following in their footsteps, for all the same bad old reasons and motives.

But are you OK with them giving in to the mob?If conservatives boycott Coke for "be less white," is that 'mob action'?

Sorry my reply in form of rhetorical question went over your head. I'll rephrase:
Dr. Seuss Enterprises' stopping sale and distribution of six books in response to external opinion is no more "giving in to the mob" than is Coke ending "be less white" employee training' in response to external opinion.

No sure why you have to insult but I think your comparison is flawed because of your relativistic thinking.
Coke ending it's "be less white" employee training is good. Dr. Seuss Enterprises not selling certain books because they somehow offend a vocal minority is bad.
And yes, I am making a judgement because there is such a thing as good and evil.

So a group is a "mob" only when they call for something you deem "bad." Got it.
FWIW, I think exposing small children to racial stereotypes is bad. YMMV.
