Q: How about the AMERICAN MONARCHY that a great many people within the GOP openly state they want to institute, to carry off on a gold throne, you know whom as their god-King, and then anoint afterwards based on a new divine right of Kings, the progeny of Ivanka, Don Jr., Lara, Kimberley, Eric? I am NOT making this up. Right here on FR in the past, in fact. It disgusts me. I have seen the posters and memes. It does not belong in America nor in conservatism.

I am intrigued. Where did you get the polling number on people under 30?

I am in a real dispute with my daughter about these royals. Meghan is no victim and was nearly 20 years older than Diana when she married Charles. Harry is obviously the walking-wounded and while she complains that the family separated her from her friends and freedom, what did she do when she took him away from UK, his family, and his military support network? I think she is not only manipulating his actions and words, I think she may be lying and gaslighting him with false accusations. My daughter is totally engaged with Meghan's claims of near-suicidal depression and my own peers are concerned about who pays for their security...as if it is due them. (And I assume that the citizens of California pay for some of it by virtue of paying local police.)

My father-in-law’s family goes back to French royalty, King Pepin the Short, the brother of Charlemagne. All they got was a family crest. Mon dieu, c’est terrible!

I have seen this age-based separation for a while across many polls, but here is a fresh set of polling wherein the 18-24 year olds are more positively disposed to this couple vs The Royal Family.
