The most glaring revelation to me was the acknowledgement by all concerned of the power, mendacity, and viciousness of "tabloid journalism" and by inference its danger.
What was not acknowledged is that "tabloid journalism" in the 21st century includes the entire news media, television and internet journalism, and social media.
Although those present deplored the distortions of truth and the utter mendacity, and the viciousness, as do all honest people, truth seekers and the enlightened deplore this everywhere it presents itself, and notably in the behaviour of this "tabloid journalism" toward President Trump and his family.
Truth seekers, the enlightened, deplore mendacity, the distortions of truth, and viciousness everywhere.
Yep, the corrupt media is problematic for all of society.
