PURE MARXISM: Prosecutor Argues Pro-Trump, Horned “Shaman” Jacob Chansley Should NOT Be Released Because He Might ‘Push False Claims of Election Fraud” Once Released

In the last year Americans — and their president — lost their freedom of speech.

In the last year Democrats stole a landslide election from the most popular candidate in modern history.

And now, just like that, we’ve reached peak Marxism.

Jacob Chansley, the horned shaman seen roaming around the hall of Congress on January 6th, has been locked up in Washington DC since his arrest — without bail.

Jacob did not cause any violence, he listened to officers and he was let in the building by Capitol Hill police.

Earlier this week Chansley’s attorney Al Watkins had a hearing in Washington DC in an attempt to free Jacob Chansley from jail before his trial.

The prosecutor, Assistant U.S. Attorney Kimberly Paschall, argued that Chansley should not be released because he might talk about election fraud once he is released.

Chansley is not the one who should be jailed.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported:

She said Chansley had traveled to Washington with others and had a large online following, and there would be no guarantee that he wouldn’t continue pushing his false claims about election fraud once released.

U.S. District Judge Judge Royce C. Lamberth did not immediately rule on the issue, but did ask Watkins how he’d arranged an interview between Chansley and “60 Minutes,” saying he’d not given permission for it, as required.

And just like that they are jailing people for the threat of what they might say.

Well, even if he was let in by the Capitol Police, he shouldn’t have sat at the Speaker’s desk. But “shouldn’t have done something” isn’t a crime per se, and the punishment doesn’t fit the crime here at all. Just an every day person reading of the 8th Amendment. What’s his crime? Trespassing on federal property? Disagreeing with an unprovable assertion about election integrity? And that warrants no bail lockup pending trial? Nonsensical and tyrannical.

My guess is he is being charged with “incitement to insurrection” or “insurrection”. I can’t think of any other reason why he would be held without bail. Nevermind that if this guy “incited insurrection” then that throws the whole Trump impeachment narrative pretty much out the window.

And the burden to prove this must be incredibly high. There was an article the other day here that said the judge ordered he be released on bond because the prosecutor’s case was too flimsy; light on specific evidence against him. But prosecutors are still trying to hold him evidently.

Jacob Anthony Chansley, a.k.a. Jake Angeli, of Arizona, was charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and with violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

Actually he is being held W/O bail because of what he might SAY, i.e., TELL THE TRUTH about the STOLEN election on 03NOV20.
