I have always known the tax returns would be a nothingburger. Trump get audited every year, and has an army of lawyers prepare his taxes. There will be nothing illegal.
You’re right but it still steams my beans that they got a look at them thanks to the corrupt courts! It’s no one’s business and until we see the tax returns of the Demonrats and RINO’s, it hope their grubby paws catch on fire reading them!!!
Not only that, he was audited for eight years by IRS Obamunists who desperately wanted to get him. It was a lot like arresting Jeffrey Epstein, whom a lot of ignorant Junior G-man Trump Catchers thought would spill the beans on Trump, only to learn that Trump was one serious enemy of Epstein and had helped Epstein's accusers. That left the Junior G-men holding the Epstein bag, a hideous thing loaded with political Sydney Funnel Web Spiders and Black Mambas. Hence, the Final Solution to the Epstein Problem.
Of course, with the visibility and the huge income, he was audited regularly and could not afford any cheating.
They knew it from the beginning. All that buzz was just part of “get Trump” political game. They could suggest that he is cheating, the same way they suggested the Russian collusion.
Moreover, they hoped to find some embarrassing, but not illegal facts. Like making too much or too little money, some aggressive deduction, deducting used underwear (Clinton did that), or not paying “enough” taxes. Obviously they will comb through it with fine comb, but all they could find is maybe something like that.
I was actually kind of flabbergasted why Trump refused the release. He could find a good time and release them - see nothing is here - and shut them up.
