Took my truck camper off road to find a hot spring in the mountains and got stuck in deep snow!
It took all night to dig out, thanks to a shovel and some traction boards I was able to get free but this trip has confirmed that I definitely need a winch. The snow in the Sierra is so heavy - they call it Sierra Cement for a reason. This video does not accurately depict just how deep and heavy the snow was! I'll have to plan a trip back to the original hot springs I set out to find once some of the snow melts and spring comes around. I was able to find another small hot spring near by with a little bit of history though and it had just as pretty a view!
:)
That is one fine looking young woman. Has the frontier spirit that settled the West. And the backtier ain’t bad looking either.
That was fun to watch. She’s the pioneer woman that I wanted to be. Now I’m 65 and will have to settle for camping in a campground. But that’s fun too.
I bought my first camper and tow truck shortly after I retired from teaching. My greatest adventure was taking it up to Boone and camping on the side of a mountain. Good times.
That young lady is very impressive.
You might want to watch some of her other videos, she is a very upbeat young lady.
Thank you for this. Very interested in camping and off-grid stuff. Just started camping in remote areas, getting there with my 4x4 Jeep. Tried sleeping in it the 1st time, didn’t work out. Next will be a tent.
I live in SFL, so camping time is only fall, winter and maybe some spring.
I will do that. Thanks.
“ Good grief, we just got done with “Black History Month” now 31 days of getting force fed how freakin wonderful women are compared to lowly males.....DAMN!”

I’m ok with it so long as there’s pictures 🤪....
Here is another cute one of her trying to fish. She certainly knows how to work YouTube. This old Boy Scout appreciates it.
