To start with, there is a good chance that I won’t get the Chicom flu.
We don’t really know enough about the side effects of the vaccines. They are a new type of vaccine. I will let other folks test it for a few years unless it becomes a job requirement or something.

A true vaccine is a dead or otherwise inactivated version of an actual pathogen. When injected, the immune system sees it as an alien protein, learns its particular chemical "shape," and attacks it. The invader is impotent, of course, so no actual harm is done, but the immune system is primed and ready for the real thing, if it ever comes. This "vaccine" is completely different. The virus alleged to cause this CCP flu has never been isolated and replicated, as have other viruses for which vaccines have been created. If there's no virus, there can be no vaccine. What's being administered is a sort of gene therapy. A strand of synthetic RNA is injected, causing the body to create an S1 spike protein, which is a pathogen, a toxin. It doesn't keep you from getting sick but rather causes your body produce more of the thing that makes you sick. The theory is that the body somehow gets used to dealing with this toxin. Further, the CDC and vaccine manufacturers have stated all along that the vaccines do not prevent you from getting or transmitting the CCP flu. The most they've been alleged to do is lessen some of its symptoms. That's why you're required to continue wearing your crusty face diaper and social distancing even after the jab.

The deaths reported in the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) are raw data, that can be used to search for reactions that the vaccine may be causing.

After getting vaccinated, people will continue to fall ill and die of other causes, as they normally would. The vaccine does not make them immortal. What matters is if the vaccine causes death.

Out of a huge sample of 50 million people (Americans who have already received a first shot), we would just statistically expect some to die every day afterward.

The 50 million in this sample however, is far from random. They were deliberately selected from among the oldest and sickest people in the Country, including nearly all the residents of Nursing Homes.

So VAERS has reports of people dying, having heart attacks, and so on. That is the case with every vaccine tracked in VAERS.

Professionals review VAERS to look for patterns, and investigate cases, searching for causative links, rather than coincidental occurrences.

So far, no deaths have been determined to have been caused by the vaccine, although there have been a (statistically) small number of severe anaphylactic (allergic) reactions, that required life-saving interventions. That is typical with vaccines generally.

Atzmon also talks about punitive government measures regarding “vaccination green passports.” And it finally clicked in my mind why for 3 decades all the children have been given special snowflake participation trophies even for wrong answers, why Groupthink is more important than facts, why “diversity” is more important in hiring than merit = Everyone under 45 is only concercerned with getting approval from the Authority and from the Group. The maiming and deadly Idiocy of mRNA vaccines is irrelevant as long as they get the participation trophy of approval now known as the vaccine passport. That’s mass brainwashing, but at least I understand the Idiocy.

Thanks for the response but I have a question: If these vaccines were not testing to see if they heighten immunity or stop transmission, then how can you claim that they do not?

You simply do not know this number. The main concern all along with Coronavirus vaccines has been latent reactions. If people start dropping dead in a year or 2 after receiving this vaccine, we will know. The 2012 Coronavirus vaccine study showed this in Animal testing

That is not true.

The standard three phase trial design for vaccines was followed for each of the authorized COVID-19 vaccines. The primary metrics they are designed to measure, are efficacy (degree of immunity conferred) and safety.

Vaccines don’t typically provide absolute (100%) immunity, or absolutely prevent all (100%) transmission. I don’t know of any that do, but perhaps there are some.

But the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have been rigorously tested to determine their effects on immunity (about 95% - very high for vaccines in general), in their standard (and actually larger than average) trials.

Additionally, the Pfizer vaccine has been massively studied in Israel, for its effect on transmission, as well as immunity.

In a study of more than half a million inoculated people, published in a peer reviewed journal (New England Journal of Medicine https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2101765 ), they confirmed the >90% immunity, and also indicated a better than 90% reduction in transmission.

They attribute fewer than a thousand deaths against tens of million of doses given. It's a pretty good approximation.

If people start dropping dead in a year or 2 after receiving this vaccine, we will know.

If they do then we'll talk. Until then I plan on getting the vaccination as soon as I'm able.

You make some excellent points in post #2.

I am in perfect health, I take vitamin D, go outside everyday and have been living my life for the past year as normally as possible. I go to Manhattan at least once a week for work (and will be back there tomorrow). I've been to DC, to Florida, to Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, all through this pandemic. I've stayed in hotels, I've eaten at restaurants frequently. I only mask when compelled to by the business establishment I am in.

I have no desire for this vaccine whatsoever. Nor do I have a need for one.

This is too fast, and not simply from cutting out bureaucrats. No good biological research can happen that fast.

I HAVE had COVID, so I am concerned extra as I’ve heard some concern with that situation.

The ROI for this just isn’t there. Cost vs benefit.

My other son and daughter-in-law refuse to get the shot. Hated the thought of contact tracing among other things. Back in October my DIL is almost positive she got COVID, but did not get tested. Her sister is a Nurse practitioner with a doctorate and said she had every symptom. She was really sick. High fever, respiratory...cough,, chills, body ache, vomiting....slept for about 20 hours a day for almost a week ...her sister treated her with supplements and natural remedies.

I spent the full day with her when she started having symptoms.. I handled the things she touched..hugging her. I brought her soup 3 days after being with her and she happened to be laying on the couch instead of bed. Her face was bright red. I mean really really red.....over a week later I had mild sinus problems which is common for me. Either I'm extremely blessed or I am immune. I wish there was a test to take to see if I'm immune so I wouldn't have to be pressured into taking the shots. Her sister said I can get an antibody test but that can't confirm I won't get the virus. So frustrating.

I don’t fault you. I simply don’t trust our medical system anymore. My 90 year old grandmother never received a vaccine. She is the epitome of health. She contracted Covid in the form of a cough and headache.
