And I thought 22LR at .40 cents around is asinine !
Lucky me! I recently opened a stored box and found three boxes of Federal .22, 500 count each, in it! I must have bought them back in the 1980s.
And for years in the 2008-now I could not find .22s.
That will be cheap in the future. I wouldn't be surprised to see .22 LR to be over $1 a round, when you can find them. The centerfire ammo will be over $3/round before long. I also think dove season will only last about 15 minutes this year from what I see of shotgun ammo availability. I haven't seen shotshells in months.
If I recall correctly, 22LR was about a penny per round in the 1980s.
