CPAC use to embrace Mitt Romney and he spoke almost every year they had it. CPAC even voted Romney the winner in their straw poll the same year he got the nomination. So CPAC not always the wonderful conservative organization you would think. Thankfully they don’t invite him anymore.

That is because conservatives in the Republican Party have forgotten, or never knew, what true, classical conservatism is which inspired our founders.
