I have to disagree in this instance.
He’s memorized names and then forgotten & has to refer to his notes. I don’t see that as a legitimate example of his dementia. And yes, he does have dementia. But anyone could have forgotten a list of names & referred to their notes.
The “what am I doing here” is an admonishment because he doesn’t want to “lose track” not a question because he doesn’t where he is.
I think it’s good to show examples of his true mental state, but I can see anyone doing this during a speech.

not just anyone the Pres of the US.

If he got lost he in no way should broadcast it to the world. Hes lost with out notes and prompter

A voice of reason; I watched the clip and you are correct. We can overdue the dementia references and write comments and headlines that discredit the real, legitimate, dangerous decline instances.

Yes, anyone giving a speech can screw up. I think the key is how he reacts to having forgotten names and referring to his notes. Can you think of any business leader, let alone a world leader looking so helpless and lost in such a situation? Doesn’t inspire confidence, does it.
