I’m going through a legal hassle right now because of some bozo who tail gated me onto the hospital property where I work. He claimed to the cops it was the other way around.
I pulled over at one point and approached his car, from a distance and said ‘’Dude, what’s your problem?’’.
At that point he got out of his car , got in my face and shoved me. Fortunately hospital security saw what was going on and intervened. It’s in court now. The ahole already blew off one appearance. Despite having earned a black belt in karate many long years ago I’m no Superman, that’s for sure.
Sure him for assault. If he blows off responding, you would win a default judgment. Just make sure you include a dollar figure because in most states a failure to appear is presumed to be an admission that the requested damages is valid.
