Actually it's Nikki Haley who started this crap when she started erasing Confederate history by removing statues of great men and the flag they proudly fought for. Trump knew this would trickle over to our founders and great presidents like Washington and Lincoln and he was right.

For all of her flaws, Nikki Haley didn’t start this. Georgia changed its flag in 2001 (14 years before Nikki Haley had the flag removed in South Carolina).

There were efforts dating at the exact same time (2001) to change the flag in Mississippi (they held out until this year).

The NAACP had been boycotting South Carolina for 15 years before the flag was finally removed.

Just as the left can’t be allowed to re-write history, nor can you in trying to pin this all on one person.
