I dunno. Drive through Southern Arizona on I-10, and you’ll see all sorts of Sonoran Desert vegetation.

On Mars? Not so much!!
Meanwhile the MOON -- 1/800th of the distance to Mars -- has untold riches awaiting us, and the only ones seemingly interested in exploiting it are the Russians and Chinese
Really really amazing. So much could go wrong. Good work. The landing concept of a rocket powered sky crane is just so outside the box. It looks crazy but this is the second time it has worked. Go NASA ! Lets find those Martians now.....
. . .what if this is the final straw for the Martians?
Didn’t know Mars had a twitter account but thanks !!
I am wondering how long before Musk puts a lander there & then brings back the rocket & lands it in the Gulf Of Mexico???
Den watching the nasa channel since about a half hour before the landing. Amazing engineering.....again. Good work.
Look, a lot of rocks and dirt.

Joe Biden: “We look forward to reaching out to and building a relationship with those Klingons there.”
I wonder if all the great explorers in world history from Magellan, Christopher Columbus, to those who settled areas of the USA said the same thing......I’m certain Neil Armstrong wondered if it was worth his time when stepped out of the lunar module onto the surface of the Moon
The UAE’s “Hope” spacecraft is just an orbiter...can’t land.
China’s Tianwen-1 spacecaft is an orbit/lander combo. They aren’t planning to land their rover until May or June.
I know exactly what they will this time around.
The same thing they found the first time.
Rocks and Dirt....
We already have that.
So dogs are from Mars and cats are from Venus?
We did do multiple manned missions to the moon, why after we already had rocks and other samples after the first one.....
Sort of like building a new computer after you have built the first one, you do it because the technology is better and you are exploring different areas....
