Regardless of what the Dems do or don’t do to him, I’m pretty sure Trump isn’t going to run again in 2024. Given his age, all he accomplished for us, and all that the swamp put him through, who could blame him for not wanting to do it all again. We need a successor MAGA candidate. I’m increasingly of the opinion the DeSantis might just be the candidate we are looking for to continue the MAGA movement.
I’d be happy if Trump took on the kingmaker role and marshalled his influence to defeat RINO’s and get great candidates elected. I believe that will be his course of action. It also makes it difficult for the media because he can work from behind the lines.
I was thinking the same thing. DeSantis may be the heir apparent to Trump. He takes zero crap from the media, and he’s kept Florida strong through COVID. We’ll know for sure when we see how hard the Dims begin attacking him. They always attack what they fear.
