Why can’t they just claim the mantle of Moderate Democrats? I mean...in what sense are these lowlife’s “conservative”? Fiscally? Constitutionally? Morally? Militarily? On the last question, I do not consider “Neo-Cons” as conservative. Imperialism should never be admitted back into the party again. Last time it got us George Bush , Jr. That should be enough to sour anyone on that foreign policy philosophy.
This should auger in quickly.

I FINALLY figured this one out:
In California, when there’s a proposition on the ballot that angers some special interest group, say a large tax cut. Rather than just outright oppose the tax cut, the usual playbook has the opposition propose their own ‘tax cut’, with the idea of their plan either being toothless or getting thrown out by a judge. This generally works better, due to voting patterns on propositions.
So, what may be happening is an attempt by the GOP Gay Mafia to CLAIM that they are the new party that Trump has promised (with the help of the media, of course), and confuse enough voters to either not know what to do, or to vote wrong.
It’s not a bad plan by them, but it does show that they consider the GOP to be TOTALLY DEAD as a political party.

They seem to be able to whiz on their own shoes quite regularly.
They will try to split the Republican vote so the Democrat wins.

All two dozen of them should have a meeting, at one of the now permanently closed New York restaurants. I suggest the Four Seasons. They can all sit on the front stoop and speculate why they are losing? Perhaps because they are all losers.

They should form their own party...they’re 3% of the Republican Party - and they’re horrible people. We would be better off without them.
Never Trumpers are only 3% of Republican voters. We don't need them for anything... Yes, they're powerful in DC, but 40 miles into flyover they're almost non-existent.
