I have an idea, how about glass bottles. Less dangerous chemicals in the manufacturing process.

That is too simple.

You forget that it is 2021. Everything requires a complex expensive solution that makes things worse.

Broken glass bottles can be hazardous to the health of a car tire. How’s about cans? Cans instead of glass. Of course a car tire could be made of recycled cans. It just has not yet been done. Maybe a monorail. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

And very recyclable. Even more so, if you're not particularly picky about the appearance of the glass. The biggest problem with glass recycling is that you can't mix colored glass and clear glass without it affecting the clarity of the resultant product.

Aluminum is the most economical material to recycle because of the huge disparity between the energy requirements of smelting ore and recycling existing refined AL.

Paper is among the least profitable recyclable material, because of the limited utility of recycled paper products.

Most of the recycling industry is nothing but a huge scam designed to make people feel like their virtue signalling is actually useful.

There will come a day when our ancestors will mine our existing garbage dumps, because the material there will be valuable enough to do so.

BUT-—they have to be returned to the bottling companies & lots of water used to clean them for reuse.
