Thank you for your reasoned comment. There's a whole lot of crazy in this country nowadays. And not just on the left. Anyone who meekly hands over their future to the current authoritarians in D.C. without a fight is certifiable.

I do hope Trump has the audacity to issue just such a pardon. He is known for such. Then watch these dishonorable scumbags in the Capitol trying to invalidate it after this clown show impeachment trial they're putting the country through.

I remain confident our local and state governments will eventually stop this country's attempted takeover by communist/socialist thugs.

I have to warn you though. IF in court they don’t show antfia and/or capital police was responsible for luring Trump supporters in then Trump will NOT likely pardon. Remember he did concede the actions where wrong. I personally think the actions where wrong but in a trespassing type issue IE: misdemeanor. NOT insurrection.
