Gina Carano portrays the character Cara Dune in the Mandalorian series currently running on Disney Plus. Or rather, she did. Carano has been fired from the series because she veered off the official Disney state path. She dared to have her own opinions.
Actress Gina Carano has been booted off “The Mandalorian” after she penned a social media post that compared being a Republican to being Jewish in Nazi Germany.The former MMA fighter — who played Cara Dune in the hit Disney+ show — was also dumped by United Talent Agency (UTA), Variety reported.
“Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future,” a Lucasfilm spokesperson said in a statement Wednesday.
“Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable,” the statement continued.
Carano faced swift backlash over a since-deleted Instagram post that compared the hatred aimed at people with opposing political views to that of the division in Nazi Germany.
“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…. even by children,” her post stated.
“Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews,” her post said.
Now it's been fair game to compare Trump and his supporters to Hitler and the Nazis

The essay, which MSNBC opinion columnist Hayes Brown published, titled “Trump probably won’t speak at his impeachment trial. That may be a good thing,” refers to an earlier op-ed published by the Washington Post last month in which Post foreign affairs columnist Ishaan Tharoor compared the January 6 Capitol riot with the infamous 1923 “Beer Hall Putsch” — a failed government takeover on the part of Hitler and the Nazis.

But for Carano to make a converse analogy has met with displeasure and intolerance, despite it's spot on accuracy. But that's not even the worst of it.

Well, in firing her over her opinions, they sort of proved her point about how Republicans are being treated.

But they don’t care or it goes right over their head.
I just cancelled Disney+ and made sure to tell them why. I only got it to watch the Mandalorian and Gina was an integral part of that series. I also told them I am done with anything Marvel or ESPN or ABC as well. We need to make it sting when they try cancel culture.
Hollywood is all about promoting strong female characters unless they are actual strong female characters.
