Inflation will be tough on retirees, those living on relatively fixed incomes, and of course the folks in the lower income brackets. Inflation is an insidiously wicked thing. A lot of people don’t realize that, but they soon will.
During the Carter years I remember some prices going up on a weekly basis. The only way at the time to combat it was putting money to work in high yielding money markets.
