"...You sound despondent and defeated..." Well, I understand his point of view. As the ONLY real Americans that still exist, we are in a tough spot.
Our fellow Freeper (dp0622) recognizes as many of us do, six things:
- Conservatism was defeated roundly in the last election, not through the arena of ideas, debate, or what the American electorate wants, but by open, unconstitutional, immoral, un-American, and illegal warfare.
- dp0622 also understands that it wasn't just the "Democrat Party" that illegally fixed the election. It was coordinated in collaboration with Media, Big Tech, Education, Entertainment, and the worst, most demoralizing, and disillusioning cut of all, it was done with the open support and acquiescence or silent tacit support from large swaths of members of the Republican Party, both in and out of elected office. We fully expect a knife in the chest from the Left. Like the scorpion in the fable of The Scorpion and The Frog...it is what they do. What we did not expect was the knife in the back, from our own people.
- As many of us do, he now accepts that in the eyes of official government, you, me, and virtually everyone else who dares to speak the truth is now an enemy of the state and like they did against General Michael Flynn, are using the full power of the government at all levels to harass, persecute, isolate, destroy our livelihoods, and imprison us, with the full sanction of the minority of the the citizenry who has swallowed, hook line and sinker, their slander. Even worse, it is being done with the full sanction of globalists world wide, and tyrannical governments like Communist China and Iran who wish for our destruction. We are being actively hunted and suppressed, and this persecution is in the process of being baked into our "laws", which we now know, we no longer have, because real "laws" apply to everyone.
- The Left is actively working to destroy this country. They are using this, ensuring they let "no good crisis go to waste" to consolidate their hold on things, giving statehood to Puerto Rico and Washington DC (ensuring four more reliable seats in the Senate into perpetuity) Removing our 2nd Amendment rights, and destroying the Supreme Court. They are spending trillions (not billions) on packages that will be money thrown away or end up lining the pockets of those who support them.
- Most importantly, he can see that real elections are a thing of the past in our formerly great Republic. The Left in general, and the Democrat Party in particular, went to great lengths through a full year or more to lay the groundwork for the 2020 election debacle. They had hundreds of lawsuits, targeted and filed in specific, targeted states and their sympathetic judiciaries, that were aimed solely at weakening and destroying any voting rules and processes that were in place to safeguard the security and validity of the voting process. Vote by mail, signature matching, vote chain of custody, ballot harvesting, Voter ID, cleansing of voting rolls, the duration of election day (changing it to "Election Week/Month/Year) and so on. They are baking this into the infrastucture to ensure no conservative block can ever gain a majority again. dp0622 realizes, as many of us do, that talk of "Oh, we'll primary that person" or "Next election..." is just blather. The Left was not only allowed, they were fully aided and encouraged by the government to carry out this farce of an election, with no investigation or punishment.
- And last, but most importantly: he sees clearly that the sacred covenant Americans have with their government (an have had since our first election as Americans back in 1788-89) is irreparably and irretrievably broken. That is, the agreement that we will allow ourselves to be governed if two specific requirements are met:
- First, that elections are fair, reliable, and as free as possible of corruption, so we can CHOOSE who will govern us.
- Second, that those elected must subscribe to the same Constitutional direction and be subject to the same laws WE as citizens being governed must follow.
Both of these vital things have been deliberately smashed, bypassed, and flouted by both our enemies and people we regarded as allies in and out of government.
So, we are in a tough spot. There are vast numbers of Conservatives who will refuse to either legitimize these farcical elections going forward, or are openly refusing to vote for Republican Party candidates (for valid reasons, since many of them were either open or silent and cowardly participants in this rape of an election.)
And the Left has not even wasted a single day in beginning of its efforts to destroy this country on many different fronts, and without open rebellion...we will not stop them.
And as dp0622 has observed in many of his posts I have read recently...there is a lot of talk and no action. It may well be that the Left will overreach and be brought down as a result, but with the electoral process as demolished as it is, and dirt, concrete, and vegetation being piled on top of its ruin...the ballot box is not going to be an option.
dp0622, if I have misrepresented you, say so, and these will be MY opinions alone. But having read your posts, I get the drift, I think.
