I believe Gaetz has already looked at all the possibilities if he resigns. I can’t see him make this statement publicly without during this. From my standpoint he stated this and wants to see the response! I personally hope he does it.

I agree that Gaetz floated the idea to see what the response would be.
I also personally hope Gaetz and Trump do it.
It would be a ‘February Surprise” if Gaetz resigns and argues the fraud case in the Senate.
