Trump offered for the Federal Government to take the lead in directing a national response the virus. The state governors argued that they should take the lead in their respective states and that they woupd call upon the Feds for any assistance they needed.
This lead to governors and states to doing their own thing their own way. I don’t think Trump should be held responsible for Governor Cuomo—nor any other governors—actions.
Of all the great things that the President did, one of them was allowing state and city leaders to be leaders. In so doing, he showed the world just how grossly incompetent so many of them are, yet they’re still elected on the promises of rainbows, unicorns and lollipops and a lot of taxpayer money for nothing. They didn’t like that.
