Have never been a fan of this. It doesn’t change anything. Many better ways of showing support. People may feel better doing this, but it isn’t going to last more than a couple of weeks. The person undergoing chemo is still going to have cancer.

I have a cancer that may require chemo at some point in the future. I will not allow my wife, nor anyone else, to shave their head in “support” of me. It would not change the fact that I still have cancer.

The vast majority of young people that lose their hair due to cancer treatments have their confidence and self-esteem shattered.

To have a typically vain and fashion-conscious mother shave her head to show how much she loved me??? Priceless!

But that's just me...
