I had never heard of the “proud boys” until the media started making a big thing of them, and how they must represent mead all of us as conservatives.
This makes me suspicious that they are a created entity, for manipulating opinion against conservatives

Gavin McInnes, not an American born person, but a former (I assume). friend of Greg Gutfeld and a semi comedic personality, started the Proud Boys as a joke. Nothing he said they stood for was real.
I think that the FBI has a strong interest in trying to hurt any conservative movement so they will infiltrate any group they think they might find useful.
The FBI stirs up the trouble and blames the Proud Boys.. The Proud Boys was a convenient target from the beginning and the FBI been there in the midst of it all this time trying to instigate trouble.
Note they only want to make trouble for conservatives. This seems to have always been the case
