Prosecutors hope to make an example of Trzos after his long history as a community reformer pushing ballot initiatives in his city to oppose civil asset forfeiture and to promote term limits.They are using past marijuana offenses as an excuse to give him a potential life sentence even though marijuana has since been made legal and is now considered an essential business in the state.
The guy is a pollical enemy and they are using his humorous remark to persecute him.
