TEXIT Referendum Bill Is Now Official
Texas Nationalist Movement ^

Posted on 01/26/2021 12:22:10 PM PST by TigerClaws

Today, State Representative Kyle Biedermann’s legislation that would give the people of Texas a chance to vote on Texas becoming an independent, self-governing nation became official.

The “Let Texas Vote” act would give Texans an opportunity to head to the polls in November of 2021 and start the process of reasserting our status as an independent nation. If the people vote in favor, the bill provides for the establishment of a committee to begin working on a transitional plan which would address all of the issues related to decoupling from the federal government.

This bill is simply to put the question to the people of Texas. Even if legislators don’t personally support TEXIT, at a minimum they should support your right to publicly debate and vote on the issue. Your representatives either believe that you are smart and responsible enough to make this decision or they believe that they know what’s best for you regardless of what you think. There is no middle ground.

We need you to call your State Representative and let them know that you are a constituent and you expect them to sign on to HB 1359 as a co-author. Let them know that this will be a voting issue for you in the 2022 election.

If you don’t know your State Representative you can map your legislative district at this link.

With DC and Puerto Rico ‘states’... and 16 year olds voting... and motor voter... and Dominion?

We’ve already had our last free and fair national election.

Texas is just moving on from the dead U.S. at this point before the cancer spreads.

Its the shot cross the bow of the criminal cabal in DC.

Now, wait and see how many states sit up and take notice.

I believe that WY and MT are next. Then the rest to soon follow.

Expect a ‘violent protest’ from the TEXIT folks so the feds can come in and stop it as they did with the fake MAGA riot.

“So then they’ll turn over all federal property in the state and reimburse the federal government for property that can’t be moved?” A lot less of Texas is federal land than many other (Western) states. Anyway, it sounds as if this proposed referendum is just looking for the go-ahead to start discussing a separation. I don’t think anyone is denying that there would be a lot to sort out.

If Texas secedes, how fast will the South, Midwest, and portions of WA, OR, CA, PA, NY, MD, and VA joint the route.

“FL would be smart, along with other southern/Gulf states, to join w/TX, our TX.”

Don’t know that you’d want us (Floridians) as we came within a hair’s width of electing a communist, gay, but married with kids, drug addict to the governor’s ship. And, why? Because he was good looking and “diverse.”

Seriously, though. My understanding is that Texas, as a republic, joined the union on the understanding they could leave it if they wanted. Florida has no such provision. Although, I can’t see the Union sending troops as it would look very bad on TV when they start killing women, children and burning our crops. More than likely, they’d just isolate us. (Look up “The Conch Republic.” The Keys succeeded from the union. The government cut off their water and power and set up an hours long inspection of every car coming and going. I was caught in that long line. The rebels surrendered.)

Realistically, what currency would any states that leave use? What percentage of the debt would they incur? What happens to Federal land on their territory? Also, America’s enemies would start playing hell with the new states politics. We could look forward to Russia and China stoking conflicts.

The reason that America is the world’s super power is because of our geography and resources. Europe had an amazing number of wars because they were so close and they were competitors. We could look forward to more than a few conflicts.

It won’t be only Texas. You will see the equivalent of 250 or more electoral votes go with it.

That is correct but they did it wrong. Both sides basically got into a P3sing match accusing each other of various things-some true and some not.

But here. US Grant, in his writings stated that if the southern states would have simply stated that they could no longer co-exist with the north and that both sides were obnoxious of each other and said we wish to go, he might have gone and fought for the southern states rights to split since in his eyes, there was nothing in the constitution that said they could not, nor was there in it anything that said they could.

His views/words, not mine.

Instead, the hotheads started shooting. Ft Sumter.

“Thinking of leaving NY for FL but if Texas pulled off something like this then I’d reconsider relocating there.”

As an independent nation, Texas would have very strict immigration policies that would prevent inhabitants of the bordering nations (Mexico and the United States) from entering.

Can we start building the wall around Texas now?

If it becomes a stampede then I think you'll wind up with at least four countries, not two.

The wall between Texas and New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana should be no different than they walk between Texas and Mexico.

Here, a long while ago-10 or so years, or just before when the Keystone pipeline was a thought, the eco freaks started the opposition. Well, around that time there was talk of this very thing-the states where that line runs through splitting and going their own way.

At that time, those pipeline provinces of Canada stated that they would/might be interested in joining.

We’ll exchange our share of the debt for our share of Al Gore’s Social Security Lockbox...which means that we’ll have to take over payments to our citizens, also.

...pretty much an even deal.
