Parler CEO John Matze flipped the script on Amazon, which had accused his platform of inciting violence and removed it from its web services as a result.
Matze and his family have since gone into hiding after reportedly receiving death threats.
Matze accused Amazon Web Services (AWS) of running a “PR campaign” with other tech companies against his company Parler. He said that these companies claimed “falsely, you know — without any evidence really other than a couple of articles that didn’t have any evidence either — that, you know, Parler, somehow, was responsible for inciting violence.” Matze said that such an accusation against his company was “crazy because their statements alone — on the first day that it was released, you know, had over a thousand death threats to our lawyer alone. Our employees are harassed, you know. We’re harassed.”
Matze didn’t mince words during the Jan. 18 edition of Hannity and fired back at Amazon: “[T]he one inciting violence is AWS — Amazon — who incited, you know, economic violence against our company and has, you know, created people who actually want to threaten us and our employees too.”

Turnabout is fair play.
Since when do ‘journalists’ make a point of adding ers, ums, and ‘you knows’ into a transcription of an interview?
Sorry John...you have no standing..
Okay, he said things on Hannity (of all places). What he said was pretty much true, if “economic violence” is a real concept. That will not shame Amazon, Jeff Bezos, or any other Leftist organization or person. They don’t have shame. Unless he is able to turn that into action that involves bringing power to bear on them, it is meaningless.
PR Campaign??
I thought it was an organized and organized attack by tech companies using monopolistic practices to restrain trade? A clear FELONY under our Anti Trust Laws
Violence against anybody remotely conservative is always justified
I’d say take Amazon to court but Parler will be told they don’t have standing.
Those concerned with being completely accurate?
Against their users as well. Remember Facebook live-streamed the torture of a young white kid by Chicago thugs, but that’s not a problem.
...or those interested in undermining the credibility of the interviewee?
It’s a transcription. Journalists don’t control what someone says or doesn’t say on the airwaves. Lol
There’s also video in the article so readers can watch the whole interview themselves.
If that is how the interviewee speaks, then who is responsible for the lowering of expectations of competence and credibility-the journalist reporting the filler sounds, or the speaker of the words, grunts and whistles?
Just (uh), listen to the (um) “Prime Minister” of (errr) Canada attempting to speak. It’s an embarrassment and a sign of just how far down the hole our “education” systems have dragged us.
“you know” isn’t a filler sound, nor a grunt, nor a whistle. You’re creating a problem out of thin air and whining about it. Relax. It’s not a big deal.
Perhaps you need to look a little closer at what I wrote. Notice the order in which I placed the nouns: WORDS, grunts, whistles.
“You know” is just as much a filler noise as um, errr, eh, or throat clearing. Its being a short phrase does not change the fact it is being used while the speaker is trying to complete a thought.
Amazon’s AWS needs to be taken off the Internet. AWS hosts violence against Americans.
