Hard to infer much from the video alone. First unit appears to be a platoon sized elements, standing at attention. Second unit closer to company sized, uniformly facind the other direction, then what appears to be a socially distanced gaggle of folks kind of facing the motorcade in general. My guess is the LT in charge of the first unit was high strung and put everyone at attention whenever a car drove by, the captain in charge of the second unit was giving an update on what he knew about the day’s schedule, and the third group hasn’t seen their LT in two days.
Most units did and some did not. And in that short vid, the vast majority did.
Glory be to God most high. There is hope and faith.
Buddy, ENTIRE UNITS turned their backs. Some did not and stood at attention.
Now that isnt rocket science either.
My kind of gal !
If the troops were there to protect the new president and motorcade, they wouldn't all be facing their subject. They are not spectators in a parade,
If there was the possibility if a threat, they would be facing away from the subject looking for the potential threats advancing on the subject.
You're making more of this than is. This is not a protest. They're just doing their jobs.
Seems to be a rather wide disparity of uniform styles there and manner of wearing equipment isn’t remotely consistent, like the Guardsmen of each state acquired their uniforms on their own from thrift shops?
A threat, like, maybe a rabid squirrel?
What crowd?
Military protocol for presidential
motorcade;
Eyes front, at attention.
Only platoon leader, first
sergeant, or company commander
salutes the president as he
passes by.
The soldiers standing sideways,
or with their back to the
president is a display of
disrespect that they can be
reprimanded for.
You don’t need an entire platoon
facing opposite of the motorcade
looking for threats. If they were
looking for threat, where’s their
rifles?
I watched the vid 10 times and saw
only 1 troop with what looked like
a rifle. But his back was turned.
Entire units you say?
Name them.
What an odd request sir
One more thing, can you blame
these guys, having taken the
oath to defend our constitution,
to be insulted by a vetting
process by the FBI to see if
they’re loyal to the constitution?
Pure paranoia by the rats. If I
were NG, I’d finish my hitch and
tell this regime to kiss my butt.
I’d be hard pressed to justify
laying my life on the line for
a country that has no trust in me.
But that may be just what they
want.
Wishful thinking - that would also be denigrating to or warriors.
What an odd request sir
The lack of an answer goes to show that crz used language that he can't back up.
Military protocol for presidential motorcade;
How do you know this was taken from the presidential motorcade?
If we had a **real** news media, reporters would be immediately interviewing these troops and their officers.
But....We don’t. We have a fake news narrative.
But....Would **all** the troops of some units be turning their backs?
If the goal was protection, portions of each group would be facing north, east, south, and west in well organized positions.
This is a serious question. I am hoping that a few intrepid reporters will be interviewing these troops and their officers. As someone with no experience with the military, I would like to know.
But you don't have to have been in the military to understand this.
Just think the Secret Service. Do you see them standing around looking and staring at the President?
No, they are looking "away" from the president watching for potential threats or attacks coming from outside his sphere.
Any security detail would be doing the same thing.
Like I said, these people were not spectators in a parade. They are looking for potential threats approaching the subject from the opposite direction.
This is much to do about nothing.
Would **all** of the soldiers of some of the groups be uniformly turned with their backs in **exactly** the **same** direction?
That doesn’t make sense.
Again....I hope some independent reporter is asking for answers from the troops and their officers.
**exactly**
Define **exactly**
