How is that even possible? What is the legal basis behind it?
One way it’s possible is when someone isn’t telling you the whole story.
Does she have any protective orders against her? Is she ducking any process servers? Default judgements? Given that her entire public persona is based on defying normal ideas of courtesy, being confrontational, and drawing attention to herself in public spaces, she’s certainly a candidate for someone to go after her and use her past behavior as evidence of mental instability.
I’m not saying she isn’t telling the truth, but I will say she’s not the first place you should go for the truth.
